Ford Edge Specs

The Ford Edge is available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Both drivetrains feature Auto Start-Stop Technology and an 8-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift® capability. Meanwhile, under the hood, you’ll have two capable options.

The base engine is a turbocharged twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® I-4 that gets up to 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. On top of being powerful, this efficient engine can get up to an EPA-estimated 22 MPG city and 29 MPG highway.

The larger powertrain is a twin-turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 that can deliver up to 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. With this engine you’ll also be able to drive for awhile in between stops for gas with an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 26 MPG highway.

Both engines can also help you bring some extra cargo along for the ride. With a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, you’ll be able to haul a couple jet skis or a fishing boat to Harveys Lake.

Passenger & Cargo Room

The Ford Edge features seating for up to five people with 113.9 cubic feet of passenger space. Whether you choose cloth or leather seats, everyone will have room to stretch out, plus plenty of room for all your cargo. There’s a large trunk, as well as 60/40 split fold-flat rear seats that make it easy to load more.

To make loading and unloading even easier, there’s an available hands-free foot-activated liftgate. It’s a convenient way to open the trunk and start packing up when you’ve got your hands full. Just hold your foot in front of a sensor in the rear bumper and the truck will open up for you.

User-Friendly Infotainment System

In the center of the dashboard the Ford Edge features an infotainment system that’ll make your drive more convenient and fun. The Ford SYNC® system comes standard with a 4.2-inch LCD screen with Voice Recognition.

For a larger screen and more smartphone compatibility, you can upgrade SYNC® 3. This system has an 8-inch touchscreen that lets you sync your smartphone to access apps, music, and phone calls through features like:
