Ford F-250 Power
The Ford F-250 offers two exciting powertrains that can help you move lots of cargo across all kinds of terrain. The first option is a gas-powered 6.2L V8 engine that gets up to 385 horsepower and a best-in-class 430 lb-ft of torque. This works with a TorqShift® G 6-speed SelectShift Automatic® transmission with tow/haul mode.
Drivers and truck lovers who favor diesel engines will love the second option. It’s a 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel powertrain that also offers best-in-class production with 450 horsepower and 935 lb-ft of torque. This option is paired with a similar TorqShift® 6-speed SelectShift® Automatic transmission with tow/haul mode.
Ford F-250 Towing
The Ford F-250 is designed to help you move lots of heavy cargo. Whether it’s taking a boat or camper on your vacation or moving equipment or a trailer to your jobsite, this powerful new truck can get your gear there.
It’s set up for both conventional and 5th-Wheel/Gooseneck towing. With a traditional trailer hitch, it can tow up to 18,000 pounds. To haul even more, set it up for Gooseneck towing, and it can tow up to 18,500 pounds.
Plus, with a standard Rear-View Camera and available features like Trailer Reverse Guidance and a Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp Camera (CHMSL), it’s easy to hook up and unload your cargo.
Ford F-250 Payload
For all your cargo that doesn’t need a trailer, the Ford F-250 has a durable truck bed that can manage a payload of up to 4,270 pounds. Three cab sizes are available with either a 6.75- or 8-foot box. Both options are made of a high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy and offer lots of features to help you load and secure cargo.
Ford F-250 Cabin
The Ford F-250 also offers a comfortable cabin. Leather seats are available, as well as a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. To brighten things up inside, a twin-panel moonroof is also available. Plus, to store tools or valuables close by, there’s a collapsible under-seat storage compartment.
For a drive that feels like you’re in a sporty sedan instead of a truck, you can also add the Ford SYNC® 3 infotainment system. It features an 8-inch touchscreen and voice-activated technology. You’ll be able to connect your smartphone too with Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™.
