About the Restaurant

Perkins is a place steeped in a long history of tradition, and from humble origins. First established as a single pancake house in Ohio in 1958, the restaurant has expanded its horizons, and now proudly serves nearly 300 company-owned franchised locations in 32 states. The in-store bakery was added to the restaurant in 1986, further diversifying their menu and services.

In addition to providing warm and friendly customer service, one element that separates Perkins from other places is its wide variety of menus. Not only does Perkins serve a wide roster of dishes and sides for both breakfast and lunch, but the restaurant also features both a kids’ menu and a senior menu, making Perkins the perfect place to take family.

The Menu

A restaurant that serves freshly brewed, unlimited coffee already has the good marking of excellent breakfast service. However, Perkins takes it even further by offering breakfast to its customers all day long!

Perkins gives you the option of building your own breakfast, which can be summarized in three easy steps:

1. You’ll first get to decide on your choice of applewood smoked bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, or turkey sausage.
2. Pick your favorite potatoes! Some options include crispy hash browns, crispy tots, breakfast potatoes, and seasoned homestyle potatoes. Additionally, if you’re wanting something lighter or healthy, you can skip the potatoes all together, and opt for fresh fruit.
3. Finally, in the last step, you’ll pick your side, which includes options such as three buttermilk pancakes, fresh-baked Mammoth Muffin®, buttered toast, or two freshly baked biscuits.

Other breakfast options include country-fried steak and eggs, a country sausage biscuit breakfast, classic eggs benedict, various omelets, a Belgian waffle platter, various different kinds of crepes and pancakes, French toast, top sirloin steak and eggs, and much more!

For lunch and dinner, Perkins also offers ample variety! Such options include a chicken strips dinner, country fried steak, a jumbo shrimp dinner, grilled tilapia, pot roast stroganoff, pastas, grilled salmon, steak quesadillas, and plenty of other options. With an emphasis on providing a variety of different entrees and sides, you can be sure that your appetite will never get bored by going to Perkins. As a bonus treat, they also offer chocolate and vanilla milkshakes to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Of course, when it comes to satisfying your sweet tooth, you may not always be in the mood for a milkshake, but luckily the bakery at Perkins offers lots of delicious pies. Some of the pies they have include wild berry pies, peanut butter silk pies, coconut pies, apple pies, and banana cream pies.
