Race to Crush Cancer Color 5K

The Crush Cancer Color 5K combines exercise, kid-friendly fun, and fundraising for cancer research in one spectacular event. Local residents can contribute to the community, raise funds for cancer research, and have a great time all at once by signing up for the Crush Cancer Color 5K.

The Crush Cancer Color 5K was created to honor the memory of Jill Hoffman and contribute to finding a cure for cancer. Since her passing in November of 2016, her family and community have continued her legacy through the Crush Cancer Color 5K.

All proceeds go towards the American Cancer Society as well as the Jill Hoffman Memorial Scholarship at Blue Ridge High School. As the Athletic Director, Ms. Hoffman loved helping student athletes achieve their collegiate dreams and dedicated her time to supporting them for much of her life.

Returning participants and new runners alike can connect before, during, and after the Crush Cancer Color 5K through the Strava app. Once you download the Strava app, you can record your pace, heart rate, distance, and more in one convenient location right on your phone.
